Raymond Greenwood, President of the Canadian Club of Vancouver and the Board of Directors, cordially invite you to a special luncheon on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 featuring keynote speaker Anne Giardini, QC, 11th Chancellor at Simon Fraser University and past President of Weyerhaeuser Company Limited

Anne will talk about how Canada's forests address economic and social needs, and are places where problems are collectively articulated and solved. She will also talk about how decision-makers work together when authority is diffused, resources are limited, stakeholders are diverse, and goals are ambiguous or conflicting. 

A Chancellor, executive, lawyer, director and writer, Anne Giardini was President of Weyerhaeuser Company Limited after serving as Weyerhaeuser's General Counsel. She is also a corporate director and publishes and speaks on sustainability, ethics, legal, governance and other topics. She has been a weekly columnist for the National Post and a contributor to the bestseller Dropped Threads. She has published two novels,The Sad Truth About Happiness and Advice for Italian Boys, and Startle and Illuminate, a book of writing advice co-edited with her son Nicholas, was published in May 2016.
